Mozilla Firefox to mute auto-playing video by default

In a wish to offer a quieter and less troublesome experience to its users, Mozilla Firefox has declared that its Firefox browser will shortly set up automatically muting audio and videos that play by default on sites.

In its official blog, Mozilla stated that Mozilla Firefox 66 will block automatically playing audio video and audio on websites on Android and desktop. Users will be required to hit on the unmute button to listen to the audio. Muted autoplay videos will be permitted.

So that users will have the capability to allow or block the autoplay for sites by permissions. The changes wil be rolled out as part of the general release for desktop and android on 19 march 2019.
