Latest Update: MHA Cancelled Visas Of 960 Foreign Attendees Of The Tablighi-Jammat

Following the strict measures to prevent the widespread of coronavirus in the country, MHA has put the visas of all 960 foreigners in the blacklists. These foreigners are those who are linked to the Tablighi-Jamaat. The Ministry Of Home Affairs now cancels their permits.

MHA has also asked the Delhi Police and DGPs of linked states to the event to take strict and necessary actions against them. The police will take action in response to the violation of The Foreigners Act, 1946 and The Disaster Management Act, 2005. The office of MHA confirms the cancellation of the visas of all 960 foreigners on Thursday.

The covid-19 cases reached 300 after the whole event came into light, and this was the figure till Wednesday. This one day increase of cases was the largest single-day spike till now. India has reached 2,000 covid-19 cases following 50 deaths.

Authorities are now paying full attention to find all the attendees of religious events at the Delhi’s Nizamuddin. This is in response to prevent the further spike in cases.
