The teaser of MG’s upcoming Cyberster has been released today, showing the electric scissor door interior console. When it opens, it looks as if a bird is opening its wings. At the same time, its doors open and close quickly in 5 seconds with a single-touch button.
Along with this, they have been designed in such a way that the built-in dual radar sensors on the door protect the side and top while opening. It also has an anti-pinch bounce-back feature, which ensures the safety of people while closing the door.
How much will it run on a single charge?
MG’s new Cyberster is being sold in many foreign markets, which was first introduced as a concept in 2021. After this, this electric sports car was seen at the 2023 Goodwood Festival. It is available in 2 battery pack options, the first of which is an entry-level model equipped with a motor mounted on the rear axle. It generates 308 hp power and has a 64 kWh R battery pack which gives a range of up to 520 kilometers on a single charge. After this comes the model with the powerful 77 kWh R battery pack.
MG Cyberster: Cabin
Talking about the interior of the Cyberster, it can see many controls and three wrap-around digital displays along with a flat-bottom steering wheel. Apart from this, there can also be an extra screen in the center console with physical buttons for the roof mechanism, drive selector, and HVAC control.
MG Cyberster: Features
The two-seater Cyberster can get two electric motors, each of which will power the axle and also power all the wheels. The company is claiming that the battery found in it can give a range of up to 570 km after a full charge. The motor installed in it generates 528 bhp of power and 725 Nm of torque. The company says that their car can accelerate to 100 kmph in just 3.2 seconds. A 77 kWh lithium-ion battery pack can be given in it.
The car has features like wireless connectivity for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, built-in 5G SIM, connected car features, wireless charging, dual-zone climate control, ventilated seats, multiple driving modes, premium Bose audio system, and Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip.
