After the long interrogation of the murderer, the police revealed the killer was very influenced by the American serial killer drama”Dexter.”
And when he ended up killing Shraddha during a fight, the monster Aftab cut her into 35 pieces and put them into a new freezer.
Now, everyone believes that he followed the ways of Dexter Morgan to get rid of a body.
But the real inspiration behind what Aftab did to Shradhha’s body was taken from the Dexter series villain from season 1- Ice Truck Killer.
Who is Ice Truck Killer From Dexter Show?
Ice Truck Killer also known as Brian Moser, is the main villain of Dexter season 1. He is a tall handsome guy with a very cruel mind of a serial killer.
Mostly, Brian targets prostitutes in Miami and leaves them alive in a freezer to die. It makes him so easy to get rid of the blood.
When his victims froze to death, he chops their body parts into pieces and wraps them like a gift.
After wrapping the body parts, Brian places them in a location where police can easily find them. He is one of the most terrifying villains we have seen in Dexter’s show.
Besides this, there is one more thing that makes this character memorable. In the season finale, Brian was revealed as the biological brother of Dexter Morgan who got separated from him in childhood.

Aftab Poonawalla put Shraddha’s body pieces into a freezer to get rid of the blood. It directly indicates he was following the ways of Brian Moser aka Ice Truck Killer.
Unlike that, Dexter’s way of killing is totally different from what he did to his girlfriend.
Dexter is a serial killer with moral values who only target killers. He follows a specific code that leaves no stains on his profile.
