Mashrafe Mortaza, Former Bangladesh Captain Tests Positive For COVID-19

After Shahid Afridi, Mashrafe Mortaza former Bangladesh captain and Member of Parliament tests COVID positive. He was having fever for two days after which the test was conducted.

The news was confirmed by Mosharafe’s brother Morsalin.

“My brother has had a fever for two days. He did the test last night. Today came the test positive. He is at home in isolation,”

Earlier this week Shahid Afridi was one high profile cricketer who was tested coronavirus positive.

Shahid Afridi wrote on Twitter:

“I’ve been feeling unwell since Thursday; my body had been aching badly. I’ve been tested and unfortunately, I’m COVID positive. Need prayers for a speedy recovery, InshaAllah,”

Afridi’s message, telling people not to panic instead fight the pandemic.

“There is no need to panic about this. Till you yourself don’t fight a disease, you cannot beat it. These days were hard for me as well.”

“The biggest concern for me over the last 8-9 days is that I am unable to take care of my children, love and hug them. I miss my children. But it is important to take precautions to keep yourself safe and others safe.

“I knew I would get the disease as I was travelling a lot for charity work. Thankfully, it didn’t happen in the beginning as if it had happened early, I would have been able to help people, send them essential supplies,”
