Maserati Grecale SUV: Maserati has launched the Grecale in India at a starting ex-showroom price of Rs 1.31 crore. The Grecale is a compact SUV from the Italian automobile manufacturer and is positioned below the Levante. Maserati announced last year that they will launch the Grecale in 2024. The SUV is built in Italy and comes to the Indian market via the CBU route

The company has introduced the Grecale in three trims – GT, Modena and Trofeo. Those who are able to buy it can now reserve the SUV by visiting the company’s authorized dealerships across the country.

The Grecale gets a wide range of technology and features ranging from a 12.3-inch instrument cluster, a 12.3-inch infotainment system and an 8.8-inch central console touchscreen that also acts as a climate control function. The GT gets dual-zone climate control while the other two trims get three-zone climate control. The Grecale also gets Level 1 ADAS.

On the outside, the Grecale gets the company’s signature styling statement with a chrome-finished grille and an impressively sized bumper. It gets the Maserati logo at the front, which is complemented by twin dual-exhaust tips and an LED headlight setup that is paired with integrated DRLs. The SUV gets attractive 19-inch wheels that make it look even more attractive in its segment.

On the inside, the model gets 10-way powered front seats with memory function. Additionally, the cabin gets a dual 12-inch screen- one for the driver and the other for entertainment purposes. This unit supports all wireless car connect technology including Android, Apple, and Auto Car Play.

Apart from this, this SUV gets optional head up display (HUD), dual-zone climate control that can be controlled using an 8-inch touch panel, and aluminium paddle shifters, etc. On the safety front, it gets Level 1 ADAS, which offers a long list of autonomous features.

Under the hood, the Grecale uses a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine, which generates a maximum power of 295 bhp. The setup is also equipped with mild-hybrid assist, which is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission with wheel drive option. The company claims that it can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in just 5.6 seconds, and has a top speed of 240 kmph

Maserati Grecale: Price and Competition

The Grecale is available in three variants. The GT is priced at Rs 1.31 crore, Modena at Rs 1.53 crore and Trofeo at Rs 2.05 crore, all ex-showroom. The Grecale will compete with the Porsche Macan.
