Maruti Swift To increase its sales in this festive season and to give something new to the customers, Maruti Suzuki has launched the Blitz edition of its most popular car Swift. There will be 5 variants to be seen in this edition – LXI, VXI, VXI AMT, VXI(O) and VXI(O) will be available in AMT. The special thing is that the company is giving free accessories worth RS 49,848 to the customers with Blitz Edition on all the new variants of Swift.
Maruti Swift Blitz Engine
There has been no update in the engine of Maruti Swift Blitz Edition. This edition has a Z series petrol engine which offers power of 82hp and torque of 112 Nm. It has the facility of 5 speed manual and 5 speed AMT gearbox. This car gives a mileage of 24.8kmpl on manual gearbox whereas on AMT it gives a mileage of 25.75 kmpl.
Swift CNG
Just a few days ago, Maruti Suzuki had also launched the CNG model of Swift in the market. CNG model is the best option for those who want good mileage. Talking about the engine, Swift CNG has a 1.2 liter engine which generates 70PS power and 102 NM torque in CNG mode. This engine comes with 5 speed manual gearbox. Talking about mileage, this car gives a mileage of 33 km/kg.
Swift Blitz Maruti’s 5th Special Edition For The Festive Season
Swift Blitz is Maruti’s fifth special edition for the festive season. The brand is doing this to boost sales this festive season. The company has also introduced Baleno Regal Edition, Grand Vitara Dominion Edition, Wagon R Waltz Edition and Ignis Radiance Edition in the last few months.

Maruti is giving free accessories worth RS 49,848 with Swift Blitz. The price of Blitz ranges from RS 6.49 lakh to RS 8.02 lakh (ex-showroom price Pan India).Maruti Arena dealers are retailing the Swift Blitz for a limited period to boost sales of the lower-spec variants of the hatchback and the price of Maruti Swift CNG starts at RS 8.19 lakh.
