The flagship Mahindra XUV700 model now costs up to Rs 50,000 more than it did before, according to the biggest SUV manufacturer in India, Mahindra & Mahindra.
The top-spec AX7 and AX7 L models are now more expensive. The price increase follows the XUV700’s record-breaking monthly volume of 10,435 units in October.
The price of the AX7 model has increased by Rs 30,000. The price of the AX7 L has increased by between Rs 30,000 and Rs 50,000.
No Price Hike In Mahindra XUV 700 Low Variants
The Mahindra XUV700 comes in MX, AX3, AX5 S, and AX5 variants in addition to AX7 and AX7 L. These variations do not, however, have a price increase. Compared to the lower variants, the AX7 variant has more features, including automatic headlamps, LED clear-view headlamps with auto booster, rain-sensing wipers, powerful ORVMs, a 6-way power seat with memory and welcome retract, a steering-mounted cluster-control with a custom key, dual-zone climate control, side airbags, TPMS, and ADAS.
Features Of XUV 700 AX7 and AX7L Variants
- Passive keyless entry, rear LED sequential turn indicators, memory function for ORVMs, electric door handles, ventilated seats, telescopic steering, and knee airbag.
- Moreover, electronic parking brake, wireless charging, 360-degree surround view, blind view monitor, adaptive cruise control with stop and go, 12 speakers, 3D audio, continuous digital video recording, and vanity mirror illumination are all features that the top-of-the-line AX7 L variant adds to the AX7 variant.
- Additionally, there are 6-seater and 7-seater options available for the AX7 and AX7 L models. There are 5-seater and 7-seater options available for the lower versions.
Engine Specifications Of XL7 and XL7L
There are two engine options: a 2.2-liter CRDe mHawk diesel and a 2.0-liter TGDi mStallion gasoline. The gasoline engine can be mated to either a 6-speed AT or a 6-speed MT and produces 200 PS and 380 Nm. There are two distinct tunes for the diesel unit. One produces 360 Nm and 155 PS with a 6-speed MT, while the other produces 450 Nm and 185 PS with a 6-speed AT and 420 Nm with a 6-speed MT. AWD is also an option for the Mahindra XUV 700 AX7 and AX7 L models.
The starting price of the Mahindra XUV700 is Rs 13.99 lakh. It now costs Rs 25.64 lakh (ex-showroom) after the hike. The Hyundai Alcazar, MG Hector Plus, and Tata Safari are some of its competitors.
