Lock Down To Extend Beyond 14th April In Mumbai?

Mumbai, the city of dreams, is set to increase the duration of lockdown at least 30 April as the cases increasing day by day.

On 22 March, Prime Minister Narendra Modi declared the official lockdown of 21 days across the country to combat the deadly Coronavirus.

But Mumbai, which is a home of more than 20 million, has become the epicentre of Coronavirus. There are 782 positive cases, and 50 death cases found according to the study of the health bulletin.

The senior state government official said

In Mumbai cases are rising too fast. In just 24 hours 100 cases were reported on Tuesday,”

He also said that it is necessary to extend the limit of lockdown. Thats because to prevent the spreading of this deadly virus into other populated cities.

The State Government of Maharashtra and Mumbai municipal both declined to comment.
