Nirvana co-manager recalls Kurt Cobain in new book

Nirvana co-manager recalls Kurt Cobain in a new book: A few days before the 25th anniversary of Kurt Kobain’s death, Nirvana’s former co-manager Danny Goldberg has been working briefly with his famous and legendary music composer in his new book,‘Serving the Servant: Remembering Kurt Cobain.’

As per the reports, the book to be released on April 2, catalogues the success of Nirvana, from 1990 to 1994, from the moment Goldberg and colleague John Silva agreed to manage them to the day Cobain died.

Goldberg saw the release of Nirvana’s most successful album ‘Nevermind’ in the four short years and turned the band into a household name.

He saw Cobain and Courtney’s Love for the meeting, marriage, and media destruction followed by the birth of their daughter, Frances Bean, all the way up to Cobain’s final battle with addiction and finally his suicide.

Taking pretty much from personal memories and documents as well as interviews with Love, former bandmate Krist Novoselic, and other family and friends, the book collects stories that Goldberg has publicly told in interviews over the years into a single volume.
