KTM 390 Enduro R India Launch on April 11: Specs, features, price

KTM 390 Enduro R

KTM is all set to launch its all-new KTM 390 Enduro R in India on April 11, 2025. This much-awaited off-road motorcycle is based on the 390 platform and is built to deliver great performance on rugged terrains. Designed for off-road lovers and thrill seekers, the 390 Enduro R combines agility, power and technology in a capable dual-sport package.

KTM 390 Enduro R Engine and performance

KTM 390 Enduro R

The KTM 390 Enduro R is powered by a 399cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that produces 46hp of peak power and 39Nm of torque. This engine is the same unit used in the KTM Duke 390 and 390 Adventure, which is known for its strong mid-range punch and responsive throttle. With a lightweight chassis, the Enduro R promises thrilling off-road performance.

Suspension, ground clearance and ergonomics

To handle rough terrain, the bike features long-travel suspension – 200 mm at the front and 205 mm at the rear – carried over from the 390 Adventure. The seat height is 860 mm, slightly lower than the 890 mm of the international version, making it more accessible for Indian riders. Ground clearance is 253 mm, which is enough to navigate rocks and uneven terrains.

Braking and hardware

The Enduro R comes with a 285 mm front disc brake and a 240 mm rear disc, offering excellent stopping power. It shares its main frame and swingarm with the 390 Adventure, which means riders can expect a familiar and robust setup that enhances stability and control during off-road rides.

KTM 390 Enduro R Modern Features and Tech

The motorcycle will feature a 4.1-inch full-color TFT instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity, which supports turn-by-turn navigation, music controls, and app integration. Riders can also expect full LED lighting, switchable dual-channel ABS, and possibly traction control, though this will only be confirmed at launch.

Expected Price and Competitors

The KTM 390 Enduro R is expected to be priced at around ₹ 3.5 lakh (ex-showroom). When launched, it will compete directly with the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, Kawasaki KLX 230, and other entry-level adventure/off-road motorcycles in India.
