Kozhikode Crash: Cockpit Voice Recorder, Data Recorder Recovered From AI Express Plane

The Air India plane has crashed in Kozhikode, Kerala, on Friday evening. The cockpit voice recorder and digital data recorder of the plane are recovered by the Civil aviation ministry’s investigation agency, Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB).

Now investigators use these components to find out what prevented the flight from making a landing on Friday. The components will be sent to Delhi for further investigation.

Approximately 19 people, including the co-pilot and pilot of the flight, have been killed as the plane fell into a valley, splitting into two.

On Friday, at around 7:41 pm, the accident occurred when the Air India flight from Dubai was preparing for landing.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, civil aviation minister Hardeep Singh Puri, Union minister Amit Shah among many other leaders grief and condolences over the accident. International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and Bollywood Celebs also expressed grief over the deadly incident.
