Kia India has launched its premium electric SUV Kia EV6 in the Indian market. It is offered in a single variant single GT-Line with all-wheel-drive (AWD) option and is priced at Rs 65.9 lakh (ex-showroom, pan India), which is the same as the pre-facelift model. Its rear-wheel drive (RWD) option will be launched later. EV6 has an 84kWh battery pack for power backup. The company claims that Kia will give a range of more than 663km on a single charge. The company has made some cosmetic updates in the car. EV6 will have 27 advanced safety features.
Kia EV6 Booking Open in India
Kia India started its booking in January itself. The 2025 Kia EV6 competes with the Hyundai Ioniq 5, Volvo C40 Recharge, Mercedes-Benz EQA and BMW iX1. The company showcased the car at the India Mobility Global Expo held in January 2025.
Kia EV6 Facelift Design
While the dimensions of 2025 Kia EV6 remain unchanged – 4,695 mm in length, 1,890 mm in width, and 1,550 mm height – Kia has introduced micro design updates. In particular, LED day -time running lamps are now triangular, and there are minor amendments to the front bumper and lower grille, giving the SUV a more attractive look. Additionally, tail-lights and rear bumper have been updated for a fresh appearance.
Kia EV6 Facelift Interior
Inside, the 2025 Kia EV6 continues to affect with its curved panoramic screen, with two 12.3-inch displays for instrumentation and infotainment. The cabin also has a two-spoke steering wheel with a new Kia logo, a fingerprint sensor to start a car and a better head-up display (HUD). The interior also includes AI-based navigation support, wireless Android auto and Apple CarPlay, Ambient Lighting and a wireless charger. Additionally, it provides vehicle-to-load capacity and over-the-air (OTA) software update.

The 2025 Kia EV6 comes with 84kwh battery pack, providing a range of more than 663 km on a charge. This makes an excellent choice for long distance travel without compromising on performance. The SUV claims a dual-motor AWD system, which contains 325 PS power and 605 Nm of torque, providing an attractive and smooth driving experience.

The 2025 Kia EV6 is equipped with an impressed suit of advanced security facilities including Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS). This includes the help to avoid forward collision, help to avoid rear confrontation, blind-spot avoidance assistance, and an inverted camera system with front and rear parking sensors. In particular, the EV6 received a 5-Star Euro NCAP rating for its safety performance, providing peace of mind to drivers and passengers.
