Kia India is going to launch the fourth generation model of its most luxurious MPV Carnival Limousine in India today (3 October). The Korean company revealed this premium feature car on September 16.Kia has started booking the MPV. Buyers can book it online from the official website or offline from the Kia dealership by paying a token money of Rs 2 lakh.The second generation model of the car is ready to sale in India.
Kia Carnival limousine New Facelift
The electric car, the facelift model of Carnival will also be launched today i.e. on 3rd October. According to the company’s official site, Many great features will be added to this car for the customers such as 12.3 inch curved display, dual panoramic sunroof, smart power sliding door, 360 degree camera, 8 airbags for safety, Bose premium surround sound with 12 speakers. Many useful features will be provided.
New Kia Carnival Performance
The 2024 Kia Carnival Limousine will be provided with a 2.2-litre diesel engine, which generates 193hp power and 441 Nm peak torque. For transmission, the engine is tuned with an 8-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. The car will come with a front wheel drive option.
Kia Carnival Exterior
- The global model of the Kia Carnival was updated in 2023, but was not launched in India. Its fourth generation model has been given Kia’s latest design language.
- It features a prominent grille with chrome embellishments, vertically positioned 4-piece headlights and L-shaped connected LED Daytime Running Lamps (DRLs). Overall, the design of the upcoming Carnival is very similar to the Kia EV9.
- One touch rear power sliding doors are provided on the sides, which were also present in its second generation model. Flush type door handles will also be available here.
- This luxury car has 18 inch alloy wheels and connected LED tail lights, apart from this, a wide electric dual sunroof will be available on the top.
Kia Carnival interior
- The cabin of Kia Carnival is similar to its global model. Three-row layout is given with captain seat in the second row and bench type seats are given in the third row.
- The second row seat comes with sliding and reclining second row captain seats with ventilation, heating and leg extension support. It will have the choice of two interior colors: navy blue and tan and brown.
- The dashboard of the new generation luxury car has a touch screen and 12.3-inch digital driver display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Here you will also get a heads up display.
- The car has been provided with electrically adjustable driver seat with lumbar support and 8-way adjustable passenger seat.
- The base limousine variant will get a dark blue/beige cabin and the top-end limousine plus variant will get a premium tan/black color scheme. Apart from this, a 12-speaker Bose premium sound system, 3-zone automatic climate control, powered tailgate and ambient lighting will give a premium feel.
Kia Carnival Safety Features
This electric car will get ADAS support with 27 latest autonomous features. Customers will get special safety features like adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring, lane-keep assist and automatic emergency braking in this vehicle.
Apart from this, this vehicle will get ultra fast charging, multi-charging support, 10 to 80 percent charge in 24 minutes, 6 seating capacity and wireless upgrades. In this car you will get Terrain mode, with the help of this mode this car can run easily on mud, snow and sand.
Kia Carnival Expected Price
The starting price of 2024 Kia Carnival could be between Rs 40 to Rs 50 lakh (ex-showroom).It can be chosen as a more premium option than the Toyota Innova HighCross (₹19.77 Lakh – ₹30.98 Lakh), and also as a more affordable luxury MPV than the Toyota Vellfire (₹1.22 Crore – ₹1.32 Crore) and Lexus LM.
