Michigan State University Player Khary Crump will Face Charges

Michigan State University Football player Khary Crump now pleaded guilty after hitting a rival player of the University of Michigan Ja’Den McBurrows. He hit the opposing player with his helmet.

The incident took place on 29 Oct. after the University of Michigan defeated Michigan State 29-7.

Khary Crump is now facing charges of a misdemeanor.

What Charges is Khary Crump Facing?

Michigan State University Player Khary Crump will Face Felony Charges

A cornerback player for Michigan State University is now facing one count of assault and battery and one count of disorderly conduct for hitting a rival team player.

He will be scheduled to be sentenced for these charges on 31 Jan.

The Washtenaw County Court prosecutor already dropped the felonious charges on Crump.

The assault and battery charges carry a maximum sentence of 93 days in jail.

His lawyer Nichols said after the jail term he has to complete a probation program under the Holmes Youthful Trainee Act, which gives people between the age of 18 and 25 a clean record, after its successful completion.

Mr. Nichols also added that Crump will complete his education without any barriers.

Michigan State University team head coach Mel Tucker suspended him from the team, he will miss the first eight games of next season.

The video of the brawl surfaced on the internet. It shows that inside the tunnel Mr. Crump swings the helmet and hit the defensive player at the University of Michigan, his teammate also joins the fighting.
