Good news has come for nursing degree or diploma holders. Lucknow-based King George Medical University (KGMU) has invited applications for recruitment to 733 posts of Nursing Officer. The goal of the university administration is to improve health services, under which this appointment is being made. A notification has been issued in this regard. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online for this recruitment. The last date for submission of applications has been fixed as 14 May 2025. Candidates who have a degree of B.Sc Nursing or General Nursing Midwifery (GNM) Diploma can apply for these posts.
KGMU Nursing Officer Recruitment 2025 – Overview
Candidates will be selected for this recruitment on the basis of written examination. There will be no interview in this. This exam will be of 100 marks and its duration is fixed for 2 hours. In the exam, 60 marks will be from the relevant subject, while questions of 10-10 marks will be asked from General Knowledge, English, Mathematics and Reasoning. It is worth noting that under negative marking, one-third marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.

KGMU Vacancy: Time limit of recruitment process
According to the officials, the recruitment process will be completed in three to four months. Meanwhile, the institute is engaged in purchasing modern medical equipment and setting up new wards to further upgrade health services. According to Deputy Registrar Dr. Saumendra Vikram Singh, recruitment for 17 posts including technical officer, receptionist and technician was announced in January. Applications have been submitted for more than 300 posts and the exam date will be announced soon.
