On Wednesday, the makers made it official that they are taking ahead the journey of the film by making its prequel as they have started with the scripting work.

Homable films have shared ‘KANTARA WRITING BEGINS’ a creative poster that wishes Ugadi to people along with the exciting news.
The post also reads the caption that says, “On this auspicious occasion of Ugadi & New Year, we are delighted to announce that the writing for the second part of #Kantara has begun.
