Jr. NTR is winning! The actor has signed a biggie, marking his big Bollywood debut following the stupendous success of RRR.
Looks like filmmaker Ayan Mukerji will not be the only new addition to the ‘WAR’ franchise. Just hours after news broke of Ayan coming on board to direct the sequel, reports now state that ‘RRR’ star Jr NTR has also joined the franchise as one of the leading men Together with Hrithik Roshan, he has been cast in the lead role in War 2. Ayan Mukerji will direct and Aditya Chopra will produce the spy thriller for Yash Raj Films. War 2 is a piece of the YRF Spy Universe.

JR NTR TO SHARE SCREEN-SPACE WITH HRITHIK ROSHAN IN WAR 2
In the next installment of the spy series, Jr. NTR will fight Hrithik Roshan. On the big screen, fans can anticipate a “battle of wits” and a fierce confrontation.
Ayan on Tuesday declared that he has assumed control over the chief’s seat from Sidharth Anand in a post that read, “The Universe has given me an exceptionally unique open door as of late an extremely extraordinary film to step into and direct! What the movie is all about? More on that later.

The “YRF Spy Universe” unites three leading-star franchises: the “Tiger” franchise of Salman Khan, the “Pathaan” franchise of Shah Rukh Khan, and the “WAR” franchise of Hrithik Roshan.
Salman made a cameo as Tiger, Avinash Singh Rathore, in the studio’s recent blockbuster “Pathaan.” Additionally, it made numerous allusions to Kabir Dhaliwal, Roshan’s character in “War.”
Besides ‘WAR 2’, Mukerji is also working on the two-part follow-up to his 2022 hit ‘Brahmastra Part One: Shiva’, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt which will hit screens in 2026 and 2027.
