Joker: Folie a Deux movie the sequel to its predecessor get a standing ovation at the Venice Film Festival. But despite this applaud the movie gets bad reviews.

Its predecessor got so many accolades and became the highest-grossing R-rated movie, earning up to $1 billion. 

Todd Phillips’s directed one couldn’t avail the too much audience as they find it repeating the things from the past one movie. The musical movie operatic tunes where both actors narrate each other pain time in a musical way or in a plain method acting dialogue.

Movie star Lady Gaga as Harley Quinn gives the most riveting performance with deep meaning.

Gotham City is wrecked with economic turmoil by its detractors and corrupt communist capitalist people. The main antagonist after creating chaotic violence in the street in the last movie, is now sent to Arkham Asylum guarded by the police. 

Lee (Lady Gaga) was also admitted as a psychiatric patient, where she encountered Arthur and the romance clicked and she began seeing his obsessive fans who wanted him to start his maniacal side.

He felt some connection with her when he was allowed to watch the musical therapy with her, where a sense of romance arose with future plan to create havoc in the city again.

Lady Gaga’s performance is dour and boring.

Joker: Folie a Deux has an astonishing performance the production designer Mark Friedberg’s inventive sets bring out the grim Arkham that lives up to the stylized fantasies. Arianne Phillips’s vibrant costume with Gaga’s orange sequined ensemble of skirted halter top and clown pants, white gown with the long netted veil that gives a people dancing in the star moment when the duo dancing at the top of the roof.

Cinematographer Lawrence Sher brings back the 70s era dark neo-noir era where the city is completely gloomy and bleak in the economically weakened system. If you watch the scenes you’ll feel a sense of nihilism and gothic culture.

In the last movie Joker the most iconic scene forever written in history is the stair dance in the musical tune of Garry Glitter Rock n Roll Part 2.

This time Joker 2 brings more opera, Jazz, pop, and musical tunes into the movie.
