Joker created quite a stir with its release owing to the portrayal of the iconic villain which was played by fine actors like Heath Ledger and Jack Nicholson. We were all so caught up with the thought of ‘will Joaquin Phoenix be able to match Heath ledger?’ that, when he delivered the jaw-dropping (oscar-winning) performance we were awe-struck!
FYI, this is the fourth Warner Bros and DC film which has touched such high numbers. Joker has even won the Golden Lion honour at the Venice Film Festival.
Joker left behind movies like The Matrix Reloaded and Deadpool 2 in the r-rated category! What a peculiar maze, can’t decide between being happy for our favourite villain and being sad for our favourite superhero!
