Jay Briscoe Derogatory Tweet Against LGBTQ
In May 2013, Jay’s constant derogatory tweets against LGBTQ society made a rocking controversy.
He tweets about threatening to “fucking shoot” anybody that tries to teach his kids that there’s nothing wrong with same-sex marriage.
This cost him a chance to be a fighter in WWE and he never ever played for WWE.
In response to the derogatory remark against LGBTQ, he apologized to the society. He even agreed to donate his full pay from the next two shows to the Partners Against Hat charitable organization.

Wrestling World Paying Tribute to Their Hero Jay Briscoe
Jay Briscoe was one of the toughest men I ever had the privilege of sharing a ring with, as well as being a tremendous brother, father, and man. I’m so happy to have had the opportunity to know him and wrestle him as often as I did. Rest in Peace, Jay, I love you.#RIPJayBriscoe pic.twitter.com/6ZxNfgPcmw

Story time.
2017 I attended my first ROH Camp. I had every doubt running through my head you could ever expect, but I showed up and sowed out as best I could.
End of the camp, Jay Briscoe gets in the ring and gives a speech to everyone in attendance. He goes in hard. pic.twitter.com/yclXk0vdmF

Sadly, Jamin Pugh has passed away. Known to fans as Jay Briscoe, he was a star in ROH for over 20 years, from the first show until today.
Jay and his brother Mark dominated ROH, reigning as champions to this day. We'll do whatever we can to support his family.

One of the top highlights of my short ROH run and career was being able to not only work with the Briscoes, but having the absolute privilege to wrestle Mark and Jay. One of the best wrestlers to ever do it and always so nice and helpful to everyone.
Rest in peace. https://t.co/bSglEFKanN

I watched The Double Dog collar match 3 times in the 24 hrs after it aired.
I haven’t done that with any other match since I was a kid.
RIP Jay Briscoe
