Morris wrote on X, “Why has no one questioned the bowling action of India’s fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah? Isn’t it politically correct these days? I am not saying that he is throwing the ball, but at least the position of his hand at the time of throwing the ball should be analyzed. A few years ago Nine would have closely monitored this.” After Morris said this, fans started trolling him, after which he had to write another post.
Bumrah single-handedly won the first match for India
Morris further wrote, “I want you people who want to attack me to take the trouble of reading what I wrote. I said, “I am not saying he is throwing the ball… but his action should be analysed… that’s all!” This is not the first time Bumrah’s action has been questioned in Australia. During the first Test too, fans accused him of chucking even though he single-handedly won the match for India.
Jasprit Bumrah has the most wickets in this series
Jasprit Bumrah is the only Indian fast bowler who has shone in the ongoing Border Gavaskar Trophy series. Bumrah is currently the highest wicket-taker in the series with 21 wickets at an average of 10.90. After the conclusion of the first three matches, he has taken five wickets twice and four wickets once in this series.
