Recipe Of Gopalkala:
Ingredients:
Grated ginger- 1 Tsp.
Chopped Green Chillies- 1-2 Tsp.
Chopped coriander- 1-2 Tsp.
Sugar 1 Tsp.
Salt to taste
Chopped Cucumber- ½ bowl
Groundnuts- ¼ bowl
Future or roasted chickpea- ¼ bowl
Pomegranate- ¼ bowl
Grated coconut/ Coconut pieces -¼ bowl
Thick Poha or rice flakes- 1 bowl
Fresh curds- 1 bowl
Method:
1. Wash the rice flakes, strain it, and then keep it aside for 5-6 minutes.
2. Take a bowl and pour curd, green chilies, sugar, salt, coconut pieces, and ginger and beat them well.
3. Then add groundnuts, cucumber, pomegranate seeds, and roasted chick pea.
4. Mix well and garnish it with coriander.
Nutritional Value:
It’s a nutritious well balanced, and healthy recipe. Rice flakes or poha is a good source of carbohydrate content. Roasted chick pea, groundnuts and curd are packed with protein content. The curd is a great pro-biotic which good for digestion and gut health.
