Typical saas-bahu stories have been the evergreen choices for the directors and no matter how many shows come with the same plot, the audience watches it with full enthusiasm. Because saas-bahu bond is kind of spicy and savory but it does have the sweet side that we forget to see. Ishaara is going to show us that unseen side with its upcoming serial Humkadam.

We all have seen Gurdeep several times on TV in shows like Sanjivini 2, Best Of Luck Nikki, and many more. She is back in a whole new role of Shanti in Humkadam. Talking about her upcoming show, Gurdeep said it will reflect the beautiful bond between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law.
The show will be a new mirror for all the women and teach them how they can be supportive of other women. She further said,
“Humkadam is a story that we all will relate to in the current changing dynamics of women vs women relationships. The characters of Shanti and Tara don’t allow a traumatic experience to destroy them; rather they stand together and face the world as a team. Breaking out of the shackles of societal expression of the saas-bahu relationship, Humkadam will make you reflect on how to nurture it with love.”
The second lead character of the show will be played by Bhumika Gurung who gained popularity from the show “Nimki Mukhiya.” She has always been choosy about her roles and wants to try something different.
Her role in Humkadam proves it all. During the interview with Agnito Today, Bhumika said,
“Ishara has given me the opportunity of a lifetime and also showed that it’s not always necessary to follow the footsteps of others. Humkadam is fresh, dynamic, emotional, exciting, and heart-warming all at the same time. It is a show which will force you to invest yourself in it as you walk with Tara and Shanti in their journey.”
The upcoming show is directed under the Juggernaut production. Humkadam is not the first show of Ishara TV channel which has a unique storyline, Agni-Vayu and Paapnaashini Ganga and Janani are other upcoming shows with fresh stories, and entertainment. The channel went on air from 1st March on major DTH and cable networks.
