According to the reports by Pinkvilla, the rumours of Vijay Thalapathy and Sangeetha’s divorce have been described as “baseless.”
The report suggests that Sangeetha is currently on vacation with her children in the United States and that is the reason she was unable to attend any events.

It is also expected that Vijay will join his family there soon. However, it is important to note that no official confirmation has been made about the status of the couple’s relationship.
Vijay Thalapathy married Sangeetha Sornalingam, who is a Sri Lankan Tamil, in 1999. The couple met in the United Kingdom in 1996 and later married in both Hindu and Christian traditions.
Vijay and Sangeetha have two children together: a son named Jason and a daughter named Divya. Both of their children have appeared in films alongside their father.
Jason made a cameo appearance in Vettaikaaran (2009) and Divya played a small role as her father’s pre-teen daughter in Theri (2016).

In the film Varisu, Vijay plays the role of an heir to a wealthy entrepreneur who returns to his hometown following a significant event. It seems that the film will follow the character’s experiences and interactions in his hometown.
