On Wednesday, thousands of users were unable to use Instagram on the Meta Platform, according to the outage monitoring website Downdetector.com.
According to Downdetector, which analyzes outages by compiling status data from a variety of sources including user-submitted issues on its platform, more than 27,000 people were having trouble accessing the social network.
Meta did not immediately respond to Reuters request for comment.
