Inspirational "Saina" Vs Dramatic "Pagglait"

March is a month of entertainment for the audience. From horror-comedy, patriotic, fictional to biopic on-board filmmakers have ensured that the audience gets full-on entertainment. However, today’s release can make your choice difficult where Saina and Sanya are giving tough competition to each other.

Saina: An Incredible True Story

Saina starring Parineeti Chopra is an inspirational film for all the young athletes out there. Award-winning director Amole Gupte has showcased every single detail from Saina’s life in the movie. On the other hand, Parineeti tried to do justification with her role. Right from mimicking her walking style, accent, boldness, determination, gaming style, and looks; Parineeti nailed all.

However, the physical dissimilarities between Saina and Parineeti are becoming the ground for mixed reviews where some are more concerned about her mole rather than the brilliant acting skills of Chopra. Even the movie dialogues are seemed overpowering to some.

Contrary to these kinds of remarks, Parineeti is gaining an appreciation for her performance by Saina itself and from the Bollywood celebs too. The film is a complete dose of inspiration.

If only acting is a concern then Parineeti’s earlier movie “The Girl On The Train” has got excellent reviews. The movie was a remake of Hollywood original and she did enough justification with her role.

Of course, actors are souls of any movie but the story is the backbone, and the story of Saina Nehwal is undoubtedly a story of a determined girl who made the country proud and achieved several milestones.

Pagglait

Talking about, Sanya’s Pagglait the movie is unique on its own even though the story is pretty simple. A young woman became a widow soon after the marriage, what’s a tragedy but Pagglait is a comic-psychological tragedy.

The movie is special for Sanya as she is playing the lead character for the first time in her career. Giving back-to-back hit movies, Sanya has nailed her character this time as well. Sandhya aka Sanya in the movie engaged in a strange situation where all her emotions washed away with the death of her husband.

She did not feel anything where everyone else was mourning her husband’s death. The movie is a reflection of the psychological ups and downs a woman goes through during the phase but it won’t make you cry even a single time. The movie also has powerful actors like Meghna Malik, Ashutosh Rana, and Rajesh Tailang. Fans are liking this side of Sanya in the movie.

“Pagglait” is available on Netflix whereas Saina’s biopic is theatrically released today.
