Team India's Full Schedule Before T20 World Cup 2026

Team India will start finalizing its preparations ahead of the ICC T20 World Cup 2026 to be held in India and Sri Lanka. From Asia Cup 2025 to the New Zealand series, the Indian team will plan a strategy to strengthen its combination and select the best players through many important matches.

Asia Cup 2025 will start

Team India's preparations will begin with the Asia Cup 2025, which will be played in the UAE from September 9. India will play at least 6 matches in this tournament and if it reaches the final, it will play a total of 7 T20 matches. In this tournament, the team will be looking to create the right balance.

Australia Tour - October-November 2025

Immediately after the Asia Cup, India will tour Australia. Here India will play three ODIs and five T20 matches.

December 2025 – India tour of South Africa

After returning from Australia, India will play a home series. A five-match T20 series will be played between India and South Africa from December 9 to December 19.

The schedule is as follows:

• December 11 (Thursday) – Second T20, Mullanpur (7:00 PM)
• December 14 (Sunday) – Third T20, Dharamsala (7:00 PM)

• December 19 (Friday) – Fifth T20, Ahmedabad (7:00 PM)

January 2026 – Five T20Is against New Zealand

Just before the T20 World Cup, India will take on New Zealand from January 21 to January 31, 2026. This series will be part of the team's final preparations.
