2. Manpower
India has 1,455,550 active personnel in the army whereas Pakistan has 653,000 active personnel in their army. Apart from that, both countries also have reserve personnel. India carries 1,155,000 and Pakistan carries 513,000 reserved personnel.
3. Land Forces
Aside from army men, India possesses 4,614 tanks, 8,600 armoured fighting vehicles, 2,799 artilleries, 100 self-propelled artilleries and 960 rocket artilleries. Whereas Pakistan possesses 2,735 tanks, 3,066 armoured fighting vehicles, 3,745 artilleries, 325 self-propelled artilleries and 134 rocket artilleries.

4. Air Forces
Indian army owns a total of 2,263 aircraft among which 173 are fighter aircraft, 405 are multirole aircraft, 120 are attack aircraft, 12 combat drones and 729 helicopters. On the other hand, Pakistan owns a total of 1,241 aircraft of which 186 are fighter aircraft, 225 are multirole aircraft, 90 are attack aircraft, 98 combat drones and 323 helicopters.
5. Indian Navy
Indian Navy also plays a very important part in the defence. India has 267 navel forces officers, 1 aircraft carrier, 11 destroyers, 13 frigates, 23 corvettes and 16 submarines. Pakistan does not have that many resources like India for the navy. But it does possess 231 navel officers, 9 frigates and 5 submarines.
