The third match of the Border-Gavaskar Test series played between India and Australia at Gabba in Brisbane was drawn on the last day. Australia had given India a target of 275 runs. Chasing this, India scored 8 runs in 2.1 overs without losing a wicket. But heavy rain started. After this, both the teams decided to draw the Test after talks. A total of 24 overs could be played on the last day. Yashasvi Jaiswal and KL Rahul returned unbeaten.

Earlier, India lost 7 wickets for Australia’s score of 89 runs in the second innings. Pat Cummins decided to declare the innings on this score. Australia batted 18 overs. Earlier, the Indian team was all out for 260 runs in their first innings, playing ahead of yesterday’s score of 252/9 runs. India started playing ahead of 252 runs for 9 wickets on Wednesday and India’s first innings was reduced to 260 runs in the morning. And Akash Deep was also out after scoring 31 runs.

Mohammad Siraj gave Australia the fifth blow by dismissing Steve Smith (4). Travis Head and Alex Carey definitely added 27 runs for the sixth wicket. Siraj broke this pair by getting the centurion Head of the last innings caught by Pant behind the wicket. He could score only 17 runs.
