Indian fast bowlers Mukesh Kumar and Avesh Khan hunted down the top-4 batsmen. Mukesh bowled Innocent Kaia (4) and Brian Bennett (26).

Avesh Khan did not let Dion Myers open the account and made captain Sikandar Raza (4) his second victim. Even after this, the Indian bowlers dominated and Zimbabwe lost wickets at regular intervals. Shubman Gill's captaincy has to be praised that despite coming out with four main bowlers, the host team was all out.
