The first season of the Champions Trophy was held in 1998. Since then, 8 seasons have been held so far. The 9th season of the Champions Trophy is to be held next year. Out of 8, India and Australia have won this title the most i.e. 2-2 times. The Indian team won this title for the first time in 2002 along with Sri Lanka.
