IND vs ENG 2025 Test Series: The Indian cricket team is to tour England next month. India’s tour of England will begin with the first Test match on June 20. It is believed that Team India will get a new Test captain before this series. If reports are to be believed, young Shubman Gill will be the captain of Team India in the series against England. At the same time, Yashasvi Jaiswal can be made the vice-captain. It is being told that Jasprit Bumrah will not be given the captaincy in view of his fitness.

A total of 136 Test matches have been played between India and England so far, out of which India has managed to win 35 and England has won 51. 50 Test matches between the two teams have been drawn.

Sai Sudarshan is expected to get a chance in the Test series against England. Sudarshan has made a lot of headlines with his explosive performance in IPL 2025. He can open the innings with Yashasvi Jaiswal. Apart from this, Shreyas Iyer can also return to the team. It is difficult for fast bowler Mohammed Shami to get a chance.
Among the fast bowlers, Prasidh Krishna, Mohammed Siraj and Harshit Rana can get a chance along with Jasprit Bumrah. Apart from this, only two spinners can be included in the 15-member team. A group of about 20 players can be selected for the England tour. Apart from the 15-member team, the rest of the players can be sent with the team as travel reserves.
