IND vs BAN T20 Match: The first match of the T20 series between India and Bangladesh will be held in Gwalior on October 6. To strengthen the security arrangements, police officers reached the cricket stadium in Shankarpur on Tuesday. Asked the officials of Gwalior Cricket Association what are their arrangements for the match.
Actually, the reason for the concern of the police officers is the disturbance in the final match of MPCL in this stadium. The cricket teams of India and Bangladesh will reach Gwalior on October 2 for the T20 series. They will play the match in Shankarpur Stadium on October 6. Both teams will stay in the city for four days. The airport, hotel and stadium will be high security areas from the police’s watch.
Possibility of protest in Gwalior
It is worth noting that the All India Hindu Mahasabha has demanded the cancellation of the match to be held in Gwalior against the atrocities being committed on Hindus in Bangladesh. Seeing this, there may be a protest against the Bangladesh team. Regarding this, the administration and security agencies have become active regarding security arrangements.
IND vs BAN Stadium with a capacity of 29 thousand
The officials of the Cricket Association told the officers, the capacity of the stadium is 29 thousand. After a long time, an international cricket match is being held in Gwalior, so the stadium will be house full. Both the teams are in the city for four cities, so net practice will also be held here. Whether the practice will be held at the new stadium or Roop Singh Stadium is yet to be decided.
Jyotiraditya had also given information
Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia had also informed the people of Gwalior about this on Twitter. This match will be held at the Madhavrao Scindia Cricket Stadium. This will give new strength to the local economy.
