IND vs AUS 5th Test: Ever since Sam Constas made his Test debut at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, he has been messing with Indian players. In the fifth Test match which started in Sydney on Friday, Constas did not desist from his antics and clashed with Bumrah. The last over of the day was going on and the last ball was to be bowled. Jasprit Bumrah was bowling this over. He was on the run up when Constas created some interference. He said something to Bumrah. Bumrah was not going to stop. He started replying to Constas. Meanwhile, this 19-year-old Australian player started staring at Bumrah and started moving towards him. Bumrah also started coming towards him. Both of them started fighting. The umpire intervened and both of them went back to their place.
The next ball was bowled by Jasprit Bumrah which was the last ball of the over and the day. On the last ball, Bumrah got Usman Khawaja caught out by KL Rahul in the slip. After this, instead of celebrating with his teammates, Bumrah turned towards Constas and started staring at him. Constas had no answer to this. He returned to the pavilion silently with a sad face.
Indian batting failed
Once again Indian batting failed in this match. Rishabh Pant scored the highest 40 runs for the team. Pant faced 98 balls and hit three fours and a six. Ravindra Jadeja was the second-highest run-scorer after Pant. He scored 26 runs. Virat Kohli was out after scoring 17 runs and Shubman Gill was out after scoring 20 runs. Scott Boland took four wickets for Australia. Mitchell Starc got three wickets. Pat Cummins took two wickets. Nathan Lyon got one success. Beau Webster, playing his debut match, could not take any wickets in this innings.
