In An Unforeseen Move, Government Bans E-Cigarettes! Netizens Ask ‘What About Cigarettes?’

Is it only me or the government is actually acting like they’re rushing to complete their target of ‘Achhe Din’ towards the end of the year? Although we would’ve appreciated, the only technical glitch is, some of the steps they’ve taken are blatantly ridiculous.

In a rather surprising move, the union government bans the sale and production of e-cigarettes on Wednesday, September 18.

The production, manufacturing, import/export, transport, sale, distribution, storage and even advertisements related to e-cigarettes are now banned under this legislation.

We’re all for Modi but this very step doesn’t even deserve the benefit of the doubt!
