The 36-year old American lawyer further said, “I won’t be intimidated, and I won’t be silenced.”
She has been giving her views on #FarmersProtest since Rihanna has highlighted the matter sharing an article on Internet shutdowns by CNN. Meena had also given a statement about the R-day violence and compared it with US Capitol Hill riot. She made the controversial statement on 2nd February 2021.
It’s no coincidence that the world’s oldest democracy was attacked not even a month ago, and as we speak, the most populous democracy is under assault. This is related. We ALL should be outraged by India’s internet shutdowns and paramilitary violence against farmer protesters. https://t.co/yIvCWYQDD1 pic.twitter.com/DxWWhkemxW
