Hyundai Motor India Limited has launched the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios CNG DUO in the Indian market. The new CNG variant essentially comes with dual-cylinder technology, which helps to increase the practicality of the hatchback. The Grand i10 Nios is the second vehicle in Hyundai’s lineup to use this technology. Earlier this technology has been given in the Exter Hi-CNG Duo. Let’s know what will be special in it.
Engine details of Hyundai Grand i10 Nios Hy-CNG Duo
The new CNG model of this Hyundai hatchback has a 1.2 liter bi-fuel engine which comes with a 5 speed manual transmission option. This engine generates 69bhp of power and 95.2Nm of torque in CNG mode. Apart from this, integrated ECU has also been included for smooth driving experience.
Features of Hyundai Grand i10 Nios CNG
This Hyundai hatchback car has many features including projector headlamps, LED DRL and LED tail lamps, roof rails, shark fin antenna, 20.25 cm touchscreen infotainment system, footwell lighting, rear AC vent, tilt steering. Apart from this, facilities like 6 airbags, TPMS Highline, rear parking camera, day and night IRVM, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Hill-Start Assist Control (HAC) have been provided for the safety of passengers.
Hyundai Grand i10 NIOS Hy- CNG Duo Price and its variants:
Hyundai has introduced the new twin-cylinder Grand i10 Nios in two variants. Of these, the price of Magna is Rs 7.75 lakh and the price of Sportz trim is Rs 8.30 lakh (ex-showroom). Let us tell you that the sale of single-cylinder version of Hyundai Grand i10 Nios will also continue with it. However, the boot space in a single cylinder CNG car is very less, whereas you get enough space in the dual cylinder variant.
Sale of more than 4 lakh units:
Hyundai has sold more than 4 lakh Grand i10 in the Indian market so far. In such a situation, with the new Grand i10 NIOS Hy- CNG Duo variant, the company aims to make it available to more customers.
