Hyundai launched the facelift model of Creta N Line in India and now the company has introduced it in Thailand. The design and features of the Hyundai Creta N Line sold in both the countries are quite similar. Still, it has some similarities. Let’s know what are the special differences between the Thailand-spec and India-spec Creta N Line.
Engine Differences: 1.5L Turbo vs Naturally Aspirated
The Hyundai Creta N Line sold in India gets a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine, which generates 160 PS of power and 253 Nm of torque. At the same time, its Thailand-spec Creta N Line gets a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, which generates 45 PS less power and 109 Nm of torque compared to the Indian model.
Transmission Variants: DCT vs CVT
In India, the Hyundai Creta N Line is offered with two transmission options, which are a 6-speed manual gearbox and a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT). At the same time, the Creta N Line available in Thailand is offered only in CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) and there is no manual option in it. This gives a more enthusiastic and customized driving experience in India, while the Thailand model offers a more comfortable driving experience, but the lack of manual transmission may be felt.
Color Options: India’s Versatility vs Thailand’s Limited Choices
In India, the Hyundai Creta N Line is offered in 6 color options Titan Grey Matte, Abyss Black, Atlas White, Thunder Blue with Abyss Black roof, Shadow Grey with Abyss Black Roof and Atlas White with Abyss Black roof. At the same time, the Thailand-spec model is offered in only two color options Creamy White Pearl with Black Roof and Dragon Red Pearl with Black Roof.
Design and Features: What’s Similar in Both Markets?
Apart from the reasons mentioned above, the design and features of the models available in both the countries are almost the same. Both get advanced features like smart connectivity, premium interiors, and sporty exteriors.
Price Comparison: Hyundai Creta N Line in India and Thailand
The ex-showroom price of Hyundai Creta N Line in India is between Rs 16.93 lakh and Rs 20.64 lakh. It competes with compact SUVs like Kia Seltos, Volkswagen Taigun, and Skoda Kushaq in India. Its price in Thailand is THB 1.1999 lakh which is around Rs 30.35 lakh in Indian rupees. The specifications of its competing models may be different there, but it is considered as a premium and stylish option in the Indian market.
