The real name of this 700-year-old fort is “Chauth Ka Barwara”. It is 25 km away from District Sawai Madhopur. The fort was built by Chauhans in the 14th century. Later it was conquered by Rajawat Dynasty in 1734.

It was the legacy of Raja Maan Singh and now Prithvi Raj Singh owns this fort.

Prithvi Raj Singh converted it into a Six Senses Fort Barwara and made it public in October 2021. The hotel features 48 suites and 100 plus rooms. They cost 7 lakh rupees per day for one suite.
