Honor has launched its two new smartphones Honor Play 60 and Honor Play 60m in China. Both phones come with MediaTek Dimensity chipset and a large 6,000mAh battery. They have a 13-megapixel main rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera. These handsets support up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. A new physical button has also been given in these phones, which can access many quick features in one click.
Specifications of Honor Play 60 and Honor Play 60m
- Display: Honor Play 60 and Honor Play 60m have a 6.61-inch TFT LCD display that supports 720×1604 pixel resolution, 16.7 million colors and 120Hz refresh rate. The size and quality of the screen have been designed keeping in mind the mid-range users.
- Processor and Software: Both Honor Play 60 and 60m are equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC processor. These phones run on Magic OS 9.0, which is based on Android 15.
- Camera: Talking about the camera setup, both mobile phones have a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. This camera setup is great for basic photography and video calling.
- Battery: To give long backups to the users, these phones have a 6000mAh lithium-ion polymer battery. This battery can be considered sufficient for heavy use. With this, 5V/3A charger and intelligent charging mode support is available for charging.
- Other features: Both the phones have a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, face unlock support, Bluetooth 5.3, USB Type-C port, 3.5mm headphone jack, AI one-click access, AI anti-fraud feature, smart capsule, Glory Anywhere door, IP64 dust and water resistance, SGS five star certified technology. Apart from this, Honor Play 60 has 8GB virtual RAM, while Play 60m has 12GB virtual RAM support. At the same time, Easy Mode is only given in Play 60.
Honor Play 60 and Honor Play 60m price and color options
The starting price of Honor Play 60 in China is CNY 1,199 (about Rs 14,100), which is for the 6GB + 128GB variant. The 8GB + 256GB model is priced at CNY 1,399 (about Rs 16,400). On the other hand, the 6GB + 128GB variant of the Honor Play 60m is available at CNY 1,699 (roughly Rs. 19,900), while the 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB variants are priced at CNY 2,199 (roughly Rs. 25,800) and CNY 2,599 (roughly Rs. 30,500), respectively.
These devices will soon be available on Honor’s China e-store. The Honor Play 60 is available in three colour options – Black, Snowy, and Green. The colour options for the Play 60m are: Rock Black, Snow, and Morning Glow Gold.
