Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has launched its electric scooters Activa-E and QC1 at the India Mobility Global Expo 2025. The starting price of Activa-E is Rs 1.17 lakh (ex-showroom) and the price of QC1 is Rs 90,000 (ex-showroom). These are the company’s first electric two-wheelers. The company has already started booking for both these scooters. You can book them at a token amount of Rs 1,000. The company introduced both EVs in India in November 2024. The delivery of both these scooters will start in February.
Price
The company has launched the Honda Activa Electric at a price of Rs 1.17 lakh (ex-showroom, introductory). At the same time, the company has priced the high-spec Activa E Roadsync Duo of Honda Activa Electric at Rs 1.52 lakh. Or the company has launched the Honda QC1 Electric at a price of Rs 90,000 (ex-showroom, introductory).

Design
Honda Activa Electric and QC1 are EVs with advanced and attractive designs. The design of both EVs is similar, only the QC1 has a hub motor in the rear wheel. Whereas, the electric motor is installed on the side of the rear wheel of Activa-E.
The front apron of both EVs gets LED headlamps, indicated with turn indicators and sleek LED DRLs. The bodywork is shiny, with a mix of curved and straight lines. Both EVs will be available in 5 colour options. These include Pearl Serenity Blue, Pearl Misty White, Matte Foggy Silver Metallic, Pearl Igneous Black and Pearl Shallow Blue.
Performance
For performance, the Activa-E has a rear wheel mounted electric motor, which generates 8hp of power and 22Nm of torque. The company claims that the e-scooter can accelerate from 0-60 kmph in just 7.3 seconds. It has three riding modes – Eco, Standard and Sport. Activa-E is offered with a 3kWh battery pack. It has two 1.5 kWh swappable batteries. The company claims that the e-scooter will run 102 km on a single charge.
At the same time, QC1 has a BLDC hub motor mounted in the rear wheel, which generates 2.4hp of power and 77Nm of torque. The company claims that this scooter can achieve a speed of 0-40 kmph in just 9.7 seconds and its top speed is 50kmph. It will have two riding modes – Standard and Eco.
To power the motor, the QC1 has a 1.5kWh fixed battery, which will give a range of 80 km on a full charge. A home charger will be provided with it, with which the battery can be fully charged in 6:50 hours and up to 80% in 4:30 hours.
Activa E Battery
Swappable battery is given in Activa-E and fixed battery pack option is given in QC1. The company claims that Activa-E can achieve a top speed of 80 km and will run 102km on a single full charge. On the other hand, QC1 will get a range of 80km on full charge and a top speed of 50kmph.
Honda is offering a 3-year/50,000km warranty, three free services and complimentary roadside assistance. This warranty offer is available to those who purchase the EV in the first year.
The company will soon introduce Battery as a Service (BAAS) with both EVs like car manufacturer MG Motor India. This is a battery rental program. Under this, the price of the battery pack is not included in the purchase of an electric car. Instead, money will be charged according to the use of the battery.
That is, the cost of the battery will be recovered as rental fee based on the number of kilometres you drive the vehicle, which you will have to pay every month as EMI, but you will have to pay separately for charging the battery. Both EVs will initially be sold from Honda BeX showrooms in Bengaluru, Delhi and Mumbai.
Hardware
Honda Activa-e and QC1 are equipped with telescopic forks at the front and 5-step adjustable hydraulic twin shock absorbers at the rear for comfortable riding. For braking, Activa-E uses a 160mm front disc and a 130mm drum brake at the rear, while the QC1 will get a 130mm drum brake on the front wheel and a 110mm drum brake on the rear wheel. Both EVs have 12-inch alloy wheels on both sides.
Features
Activa E has a 7-inch TFT screen with Bluetooth connectivity, music control, inbuilt GPS navigation, day and night mode. Apart from this, like ICE Activa, a smart key system, USB C-type charging port and hook have been provided. On the other hand, the QC1 comes with a 5.0-inch LCD display, a USB Type-C charging port, and a 26-litre under-seat storage.
