HMD Hyper: Lumia-inspired design, 50MP OIS camera and Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC

HMD is preparing to release its upcoming smartphone, the HMD Hyper, as hinted by tipster HMD_MEME’S (@smashx_60) on X (formerly Twitter), who has now shared detailed specifications of the device.

The HMD Hyper is expected to have a design similar to the HMD Skyline, which will be similar to the Lumia. In the leaked images, the device is seen in yellow color, with a punch-hole front, a rear rectangular camera module with three sensors and buttons on the right side.

Specifications of HMD Hyper

1. Display: According to the leak, the company can offer an OLED display in the HMD Hyper. It is likely to get FHD Plus resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.
2. Chipset: Regarding the processor of the phone, it has been told that it can have Snapdragon 6 Gen 1. This means that users will get good performance in the phone.
3. Storage and RAM: Talking about the storage option, according to the leak, the phone can be offered with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage model. Micro SD slot can also be provided to increase the memory.
4. Camera: Triple rear camera setup can be found in the device. In which a 50-megapixel primary camera lens can be installed with optical image stabilization sensor. It has been revealed that it will have a 13-megapixel secondary and another 8-megapixel lens. At the same time, a 50-megapixel front camera can be given for selfie and video calling.
5. Battery and Charging: To run the phone, a combination of 4700mAh battery and 33W fast charging support can be given in it.
6. Connectivity: Features like 5G, 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, USB Type C port can be found in the device.
7. OS: Talking about the operating system, HMD Hyper smartphone can be based on Android 14.
