The gangster Vikas Dubey was most wanted after he killed 8 police personnel in Kanpur. Since then he had been running and the police have been on a hunt for him. Yesterday he was found at the Ujjain Mahakal Mandir where he got finally arrested.
However, after he got arrested and was on his way back to Kanpur with the police he vehicle met with an accident. In that accident, Vikas Dubey tried to escape and also snatched the weapon from the police. He tried to escape even after the police asked him to surrender and that is when the encounter took place.
Dubey suffered bullet shots but later succumbed to his injures. He was taken to Kanpur hospital where doctors declared him dead.
Vikas Dubey was caught after a seven-day manhunt that began Kanpur and finally he was arrested in Kanpur’s temple.
