While the world was enjoying the #Superbowl 2021 on weekend i.e. 7th February, a commercial ad during the event caught attention of Californian audience towards India. The ad was about on-going farmers protest of India that is already in global spotlight since few days.

A 30-second ad was shown during the game on Channel 47 KSEE 24 of California between somewhere around 3-3:30 pm. It began with the motives of farmer protest- “India, take back the farm bills,” followed by the quote of Martin Luther King Jr. that says, “Injustice Is A Threat.”

Ad Quoted Protest As ” Largest Protest In History”

The ad says 7 human rights have been violated during the protest and more than 160 peoples have been died. Rihanna’s tweet was also showed in the clip that ends with hashtags #StandWithFarmers and #FarmersProtest.

However, it is not clear whether the ad was actually aired during the American National Football League or not. But a Canadian-Punjabi singer Jazzy B has posted the video on twitter saying, “World is watching! Farmers ad played at #SuperBowl.”

Farmer Protest Ad Costs Millions
