Bollywood every year serves us with many movies but not all movies can impress audiences. Sometimes movies imbibes big budgets and hence Producers and Directors have high expectations from such movies. But unfortunately these High budget Bollywood movies sometimes fail miserably at box office.
High budget bollywood movies that were big disasters:
1) Bombay Velvet

2) Ra. One
Ra.One was another disaster which failed unexpectedly. Shahrukh Khan anticipated a lot from this movie. He was quite upset with its flop. Ra.One was made with a budget of 150 crores and lots of marketing expenses were also incurred. This movie was VFX enabled but still tanked. Film obtained low gross collections. This film was released in 2011
3) Tubelight

With even grand sets, wealthy look and good star cast, this movie tanked. Kalank movie had a very royal touch and expensive materials costumes. This all incurred the cost of 150 Crores. Movie was made under the production of Karan Johar and starred Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Madhuri Dixit, Sanjay Dutt, Aditya Roy Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha. Kalank had a great music and interesting but still people couldn’t relate with the movie. This movie had the high expectations but unfortunately obtained low gross collections.
6) Zero

Love story 2050 was a movie where the unique concept turned against the movie only. It was a debut of Harman Baweja and starred Priyanka Chopra as a main lead. It was a science fiction romantic film which bored people. Love Story 2050 was released in 2008 with a budget of 60 Crores but returned only 18 Crores.
