Hidden Camera in Girls Hostel. A case of finding a hidden camera in the washroom (toilet) of the girls hostel of an engineering college in Krishna district of Andhra Pradesh has come to light. It is alleged that some videos were recorded through the camera and sold. This incident took place in Gudlavaleru Engineering College of Krishnan district.

According to the NDTV report, the incident happened when some girl students saw a hidden camera in their toilet on Thursday evening, which caused immediate concern and trouble. According to the report, there was a chaotic reaction after this discovery and the students started protesting around 7 pm which continued till Friday morning and slogans of “We want justice” echoed throughout the campus. Police have said that the investigation is ongoing and they are still trying to find out if any other students were involved in setting up the camera and distributing the video.

Reports suggest that over 300 photos and videos have been leaked from the women’s hostel toilet, with some students allegedly purchasing these videos from a student who is being questioned by the police. The discovery of the hidden camera and the subsequent release of the sensitive footage has left many female students deeply upset. Many have expressed concern and discomfort about using the toilet facilities, while some have chosen to avoid the area altogether. Authorities have assured that strict action will be taken against those responsible.

The protest comes amid nationwide demonstrations by doctors and others condemning the rape and murder of a junior doctor at Kolkata’s RG Kar Hospital. Bharatiya Janata Party IT cell chief and West Bengal in-charge Amit Malviya on Monday shared a purported video showing a crowd in the seminar room on the fourth floor of Kolkata’s RG Kar Medical College and Hospital soon after the incident – where a trainee doctor was allegedly raped and murdered. According to Amit Malviya, the crime scene was “completely destroyed” in the presence of doctors, policemen, hospital staff and outsiders.

A few days ago, a camera was found in the washroom of a Third Wave Coffee in Bengaluru. The accused had hidden a smartphone in the washroom. The accused had hidden the phone in flight mode. It was later found that the phone belonged to an employee.
