Hiba Nawab Explained Her Feelings As A On-Screen Mother

After playing lead characters in popular television shows like “Jija Ji Chhat Par Hai” and “Bhaag Bakool Bhaag,” actress Hiba Nawab became a household name in India.

She made her debut as a child actress in 2005 through a popular television show “Saat Phere: Saloni Ka Safar. Thereafter, the actress appeared in various TV shows over the years including Lo Ho Gayi Pooja Iss Ghar Ki, Ssshhh… Phir Koi Hai, Crazy Stupid Ishq, Meri Sasu Maa, Tere Shehar Main, etc.

However, Hiba is playing the character of Sayuri in an ongoing television show “Woh Toh Hai Albela.” With this show, she gained huge popularity in India. She has more than 2 million followers on Instagram.

Recently, in an interview, Hiba Nawab talked about the character transformation of Sayuri in the show. Apart from it, she also opened up her thoughts about how she feels about portraying the role of a mother on screen. Read her full statement here:

During the interaction, television actress Hiba Nawab started by explaining the transformation of Sayuri over the years. Hiba said “For the past few years, as I’ve been playing the role of Sayuri, I’ve seen her personality change and develop in a way that makes me feel a great connection to my character.

“Sayuri is a young woman with unique viewpoints and thoughts on her life and motivation. After getting married, her small world enlarges as she begins a new family. She was initially quiet and reserved, but after becoming a mother, she has developed into a woman who is both resilient and strong.”

The actress continued, “As shown by my character Sayuri, motherhood is a lovely aspect of a woman, and I feel amazing to be portraying such a character since it’s tender and also touches the heart of the viewers. Even though I am not a mother in real life, I can feel every feeling a mother has when portraying this character,”

“This is something new for me, and I feel like it’s been good. I’m in awe of how far the show has progressed and how we have now surpassed the 300-episode mark. I hope there are many more events like this, and that we hit even more significant milestones.”
