Hero MotoCorp’s popular commuter bike 2025 Hero Passion Plus was launched in India. The company has made some important changes to this motorcycle related to many technical and emission standards. Along with these changes, there has been a slight change in the price as well. Let’s know what new has been given in the 2025 Hero Passion Plus?
Hero Passion Plus Design
There is no change in the design of the 2025 Hero Passion. It has black coloured 18-inch 5-spoke alloy wheels and dual-tone colour theme. The current model of Passion came with 4 colour options, while the 2025 model is available in two colour options – Black Nexus Blue and Black Heavy Grey.
Hero Passion Plus Engine and Performance
The 2025 Hero Passion Plus is powered by a 97.2CC single cylinder air-cooled 2-valve engine for performance, which is updated as per the new OBD2B emission norms. This engine generates 8.02ps of power at 8000rpm and 8.05Nm of torque at 6000rpm. It is tuned with a 4-speed gearbox. The same engine is also available in Splendor Plus and HF Deluxe, but the company has not updated these two models.
Hero Passion Plus Features
The Hero Passion Plus bike is equipped with Combined Braking System (CBS), mobile chasing port, small utility storage box under the fuel tank, self-start, side-stand down engine cut-off and Hero’s start stop system – i3S.
It uses a double cradle frame, which is supported by telescopic fork and twin shock absorber suspension. For braking, it has 130mm drum brakes on both wheels. It has 18-inch tubeless tyres, which have 80 section in the front and 100 section in the rear. Its ground clearance is 168mm, seat height is 790mm and curb weight is 115kg.
Hero Passion Plus Price in India
The 2025 Hero Passion Plus is priced at ₹ 81,651 (ex-showroom), which is ant 1,750 more expensive than the last 2024 non-OBD 2B version, priced at ₹ 79,901. Despite the price increase, the passion plus remains a highly inexpensive and reliable commuter motorcycle. In the entry-level 100cc bike segment, it directly competes with other popular models such as Honda Shine 100, Bajaj Platina 100, TVS Sport, as well as Hero’s own offerings — the Splender Plus and HF deluxe. With its updated engine, new emission compliance and useful features, the 2025 passion plus remains a strong contender in the budget commuter category.
