The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation said that out of the seven lakes that supply water to the city, two Vihar Lake and Modak Sagar Lake started overflowing early this morning. The lakes have a capacity of 2,769 crore liters and 12,892 liters.

The Meteorological Department has predicted rain in Pune city, Bhor, Velha in the next few hours. A warning of heavy rain has been issued in Khadakvasla area of ​​Maval, Mulshi, Haveli taluka. A red alert has been issued regarding this. Also, orders have been given to close schools on July 25. At the same time, there is waterlogging in the low-lying areas of Pune city. In view of this possibility, District Collector Dr. Divase has appealed to the citizens to be cautious and come out of their homes only when necessary. The District Collector has also ordered closure of schools in Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation area.

The revised dates of all these examinations will be announced soon.

Deputy Chief Minister orders Pune Collector to control the situation

Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar has requested Collector Suhas Diwas to take action against the students. I have spoken on the phone to know the situation in Pune.
